SINCLAIR

RESOURCE COACH

Trevor Sinclair is a footballing great. Trevor began his career at Blackpool where he played from 1989 to 1993. When Trevor made his debut for Blackpool, on 19 August 1989, he became the club's youngest ever player, at 16 years, 5 months, breaking a record set nine years earlier. In 1993 Trevor moved to Queens Park Rangers, with whom he won the October 1995 Premier League Player of the Month then to West Ham United in 1998 and then Manchester City in 2003.

In 1997 Trevor won the BBC's "Goal of the Season"competition with an overhead scissors-kick while playing for QPR in an FA Cup match against Barnsley. Trevor enjoyed a prolific career with England and is widely regarded as one of the best players at the 2002 FIFA World Cup. In 2007 Trevor joined Cardiff City scoring his first Cardiff goal in a 4–2 win in the Carling Cup over West Bromich Albion. Trevor was a major influence in the Cardiff City run towards the 2007 FA Cup final against Portsmouth.

Trevors incredible skill, pace, eye for the goal, his confidence and the fact that he always had fun on the pitch make him an invaluable asset in the ESA Football programme. It will be a huge honour for the students to be coached by a true legend.
